If you are considering making a decision to follow Jesus, please know that asking Jesus to be your Savior and Lord means you are entering into a relationship with God. While it does not mean that you will not have difficulties and struggles in life, it does mean that you will never walk through those difficulties alone. God promises in His Word, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
At Central Church, we want to walk alongside you to answer your questions and help you grow in your faith. The story of God’s plan to redeem each of us is what we call the “Gospel”, which means “good news”. Here’s how to start your journey with Jesus:
We are all born with a sin nature. Because of our sin, we are unable to have a relationship with God without forgiveness.
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." Romans 3:23We can’t earn God’s forgiveness – it must be given. Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice so that we could be forgiven.
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." Romans 5:8We must accept this free gift from God by committing our lives and heart to Jesus.
"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9Click on the link below to talk to someone about experiencing the hope, freedom, and new life that comes when you follow Jesus.
